中英文标点符号的读法用法大全

⒈ 汉语中的某些标点符号为英语所没有。

⑴ 顿号（、）：顿号在汉语中起分割句子中的并列成分的作用；英语中没有顿号，分割句中的并列成分多用逗号。如：
She slowly, carefully, deliberately moved the box.
注意：类似的情况下，最后一个逗号后可加and，这个逗号也可省略--She slowly, carefully(,) and deliberately moved the box.
⑵ 书名号（《》）：英文没有书名号，书名、报刊名用斜体或者下划线表示。如：
Hamlet / Hamlet 《哈姆雷特》 Winter's Tale / Winter's Tale 《冬天的童话》
The New York Times / The New York Times 《纽约时报》
另外，英语中文章、诗歌、乐曲、电影、绘画等的名称和交通工具、航天器等的专有名词也常用斜体来表示。
⑶ 间隔号（•）：汉语有间隔号，用在月份和日期、音译的名和姓等需要隔开的词语的正中间，如"一二•九"、"奥黛丽•赫本（人名）"等。英语中没有汉语的间隔号，需要间隔时多用逗号。
⑷ 着重号：有时汉语用在文字下点实心圆点表示需要强调的词语，这些实心点就是着重号。而英语中没有这一符号，需强调某些成分时可借助文字斜体、某些强调性词汇、特殊句型、标点停顿等多种方法。

⒉ 英语中的某些标点符号为汉语所没有。

⑴ 撇号--Apostrophe（'）： 该符号主要表示①所有格，如Shakespear's plays / the boy's book； ②数字、符号、字母或词形本身的复数，如The teacher had only four A's in his class.; ③省略了字母、数字或单词，如let's（=let us）/ I've（=I have）。
⑵ 连字号--Hyphen（-）：该符号主要用于以下几种情况。①复合词，如world- famous。②派生词的词缀与词根或词之间，如co-worker。③两个比分、比赛对手、地名、人名、数字之间，可视情况译为"比""对""至"等。④单词移行，把在一行写不开的单词按音节移到下一行，但必须注意：a. 单音节词不移行。 b. 曲折变化后的词尾，如-er/-or/-ing等一般不移行。c. 数字、缩略词不宜移行。d. 易引起歧义的词不移行，如legend不宜移行为leg-end。e. 移行后行尾不宜只剩一个字母，如alone不宜移为a-lone。 f. 带词缀的词应在词缀和词根处移行，如disappear移为dis-appear。g. 复合词在复合成分之间移行，如heartsick移为heart-sick。
⑶ 斜线号--Virgule或Slash（/）：该符号主要起分割作用，如It could be for staff and / or students. 也常用于标音，如bed /bed/。

⒊ 某些符号在汉英两种语言中的形式不同。

⑴ 中文的句号是空心圈（。），英文的句号是实心点（.）。
⑵ 英文的省略号是三个点（...），位置在行底；中文的为六个点（......），居于行中。在美国英语中，如果省略号恰好在句尾，就用四个点，如I'd like to...that is...if you don't mind....
⑶ 英文的破折号是（-），中文的是（--）。

四、美国英语与英国英语在标点符号方面的细微差别

1． 引号的用法：①属于引语的逗号、句号在美国英语中位于引号内，而在英国英语中多位于引号外；②引语内再套用引语时，美国英语中双引号在外单引号在内，而英国英语中的单引号在外、双引号在内。
2． 冒号的用法：①在小时与分钟之间，美国英语多用冒号，英国英语多用句号；②美国英语中，信件或演说词的称呼语之后用冒号，而在英国英语中多用逗号。

分号的用法
分号是名副其实的分隔号，它不能用于完结一个句子，它通常用于并列的分句之间。一般来说，分号的作用介于句号与逗号之间，用分号隔开的两部分之间的关系，比用句号分开的紧密，但不及用逗号分开的紧密。分号一般有以下的用法：
1) 用于并列分句之间，以分隔（通常）没有连词连接的主要从句，这些从句被认为是关系密切而属于一个句子。
2) 用于for example, for instance, namely, that is(to say), in fact, i.e., e.g. 等词语引出的分句之前。

冒号的用法
冒号是一个补充、连贯的符号，被用来引起读者注意下文。冒号多用于正式而庄重的问题中，具体用法如下：
1) 列出表示列举、解释、或说明性的词语。
2) 引出较长的正式引语或大段引语。
3) 用于信件或演说词中的称呼语之后（英国用法中多用逗号）。
4) 用于时与分之间（英国用法中多用句号）、比率数之间、《圣经》的章与节之间。
5) 分隔书名的标题与副标题。

问号的用法
问号，就是用在问句之后的符号，多用于对话中，书面表达中相对较少。问号的一般用法如下：
1) 用于疑问句或语气婉转的祈使句之后。
2) 用在括孤内表示存疑或无把握。

叹号的用法
感叹号，用于抒发强烈的情感，如惊叹，赞赏，呼吁，决心，或用来表示强调，命令等。通常感叹号有以下用法：
1) 用于加强命令语气或引起注意。
2) 表示感叹、赞美、嘲讽或玩笑。

连字符的用法
在英语中，连字符的作用是多方面的，其用法灵活多变。通常连字符有下列用法：
1) 用于复合词。
2) 用于词缀（或组合语素）与词根（或词）之间。
3) 用以避免单词在语义或在语音上发生混淆或用于分离。
4) 用于两地名、两数字或两个时间之间，意为“至”。
5) 用于单词移行。
但移行时要注意以下几种情况：
※单间节词不能分开移行，例如strength 不宜分成steng- 和th
※屈折变化形式不宜分开移行，例如working不宜分成work-和ing.
※数字、缩略词不宜分开移行，例如25759和UNESCO 不宜分成257-和59， UNES-和CO。
※易引起岐义的词不宜分开移行，例如legend和earnest不宜分成leg- 和end , ear-和nest 移行。
※移行后行尾不宜只剩一个字母，例如alike 和alone不宜分成a- 和like，a-和lone.
※有词缀的词应在词缀与词根处移处，例如unimportant 和disappear应在uni和important, dis-和appear
处分开移行。
※复合词应在复合成分之间移行（原有连字符号的，可在行尾用双连字号或在下一行行首加一连字号），
注意：连字符不可与破折号相混，破折号起分隔句中的若干部分的作用，连字符的长度为破折号的一半。

破折号的用法
破折号是用来加强语气的符号，表示意思突然转折，往往起到冒号，分号或逗号的作用。其用法如下：
1) 表示话语突然中断、意思突然转折或犹豫不决。
2) 引出被强调的词语。
3) 分隔非限定性修饰语、同位语或附加成分的词语。
4) 引出概括性词语。
5) 表示引文出处。
6) 用于两地名或两个时间之间，意为“至”，

引号的用法
引号有双引号和单引号之分，事实上，双引号较单引号常用，单引号多见于报刊的新闻标题中。引号有下列几种用法：
1) 用于直接引语。
注意句子中其他标点符号与引号的相对位置：
逗号、句号位于引号内（这是美国用法，英国用法多置于引号外），在引语内再用引语时，可用单引号（这是美国用法，在英国用法中，单引号在外，双引号在内）。引语不止一段时，引号位于各段起始处和最后一段结尾处。
2) 用于引述文章、文艺作品、歌曲、广播及电视节目、绘画等。

撇号的用法
撇号主要有以下用法：
1) 表示名词或不定代词的所有格。
构成规则：
不以s结尾单复数名词加's， 如John's bike 约翰的自行车
以s结尾的单复数名词加'， 如student' room 学生房间
以s结尾的单数名语加's或' , 如Charles' brother / Charles's brother 查尔斯的弟弟
2) 表示数学、符号、字母或词形本身的复数。
3) 表示省略了字母、数字或单词。

圆括号的用法
圆括号主要用于句子内容的补充说明。其功能相当于英语的插入语，具体用法如下：
1) 括出例证、引文出处、参见、补充说明等解释性文字。
2) 括出表示列举的数字或字母。
3) 括出可省略的词语。
4) 括出注释中刊物的出版地、出版商及出版年代等内容，
5) 括出可供选择的内容

方括号的用法
方括号通常是写作中用来表达意见，评论，或用于进行内容更正的专用符号。其用法如下：
1) 引述他人文字中插入自己解释性或评述性的词语。
2) 对原文加以修正。
3) 括出剧本中的舞台提示。
4) 作圆括号内的括号。

删节号的用法
删节号又称省略号，通常用来表示引文中的省略部分或话语中未能说完的部分，也可表示话语中断断续续的停顿。星号（Asterisk）有时也用来表示省略，但此用法在现代英语中已渐渐消失，删节号的用法为：
1) 表示词语省略
2) 表示语句中的断续、停顿、犹豫。
3) 表示整行诗文的省略

斜线号的用法
斜线号的主要功能是分隔作用，其具体用法有：
1) 用于分隔替换词。
/or students.
可以是老师和/或学生。
2) 用于分隔并列词语。
3) 用于某些缩略词中。
4) 用于速度、度量衡等单位中。

下面偶就开始来讲解安装eva和运行的方法: 安装以及运行方法:
1,下载源码包后进入源码包所在目录(个人推荐在/usr/local下) 命令: #cd /usr/local
2,解压缩源码包: 命令: # tar jxvf eva-0.3.1.tar.bz2
3,开始编译命令: #cd eva-0.3.1 #./configure --prefix=`kde-config --prefix` (这个过程要等上7,8分钟的样子) #make #make install 至此安装完毕嘿嘿.....
4,运行命令: #eva 这样eva就可以运行了....

不过偶在fedora4下面没有安装成功,在编译的时候出现问题.查找了linuxfans网站,发现fedora4的使用者都无法安装,都是在编译的时候出现问题..我的实践fedora3和as3上安装没有问题,linuxfans网站上的消息也说:除了BSD和fedora4,其他版本安装都没问题. 个人觉得这个东东比LumaQQ要好用, 无论是功能还是运行效率都要比lumaQQ出色.这个软件是新近开发出来的,但是有后来居上的气势...其实无论怎样,相比于运行于windows的官方QQ还是逊色得多.希望腾讯的老马能够重视linux的潜在市场.觉得对于中国用户来说,只要有了官方版本的linux版QQ,相信linux的使用者将多出很多..
